INFRARED HEATER CONVERSION
Kasi Infrared’s “UltraGlo”
* infrared converters are the most effective & efficient heaters
available for in-place asphalt restoration. This simple change
will make your heater better than brand new.

Extends life of the inconnel grids by 2 or 3 times.

Blowers run at 12 volts, increasing the armature & brush life by
up to 3 times.

to 25% greater fuel efficiency.
Changing to Kasi “UltraGlo”
Converters is a simple process, requiring the following
modifications:
- Removal of the existing converters. We
recommended at this point that the chamber is sandblasted and
repainted with high heat paint.
- Existing clips are removed from the chamber
and replaced with retaining blocks.
- New end brackets are installed inside the
chamber (this eliminates the bolts that stick out of the end of
the old chamber).
- New unions are attached to the existing
manifold.
- The new converters are installed into the
existing chamber manifold.
- A new 12 volt fuse block is installed and
wired to provide 12 volts to the blower motors and pressure
switch.
- Gas orifice is adjusted down to 4 ˝ turns
out from bottom. Air shutter is opened approximately 1” from the
stop.
- Unit is test fired and final adjustments
made to the gas and air.
